The Chan Centre offers a full complement of concession services that are available for pre-show refreshments, conferences or post-show receptions. Concession services are also available for stand-alone receptions or your special event. Clients can choose from a variety of Host Bar packages.

Concession Packages
Conference Coffee Service
This basic package is suitable for conferences of any size up to 600 and includes:
Freshly brewed coffee - regular and decaffeinated
A selection of black and herbal teas
Orange and cranberry juices and assorted soft drinks
Cost: $2.45/person/hour
Deluxe Conference Coffee Service
The Chan Centre's Conference Coffee Service package, complemented by Dasani and Perrier bottled water.
Freshly brewed coffee - regular and decaffeinated
A selection of black and herbal teas
Orange and cranberry juices and assorted soft drinks
Dasani and/or Perrier bottled water
Cost: $3.75/person/hour
West Coast Bar
All the components of the popular Conference Coffee Package plus the best of BC's wine and beer.
Cost: $8.75/person/hour
Premium West Coast Bar
The Chan Centre's best offering yet, this package includes all the standard components of the popular West Coast Bar option, with the addition of premium liqueurs, brandy and single malt scotch.
Cost: $13.25/person/hour
Add-on Espresso Bar
Espresso-based drinks including cappucinos, lattes and mochas can be added to each host bar package.
Add-on Cost: $1.00/person/hour
Alcohol Policy
Reception spaces at the Chan Centre are fully licenced to serve alcohol. In accordance with the BC Liquor and Control Licencing Act, please note the following rules apply:
Chan Centre staff must purchase, open and serve all alcoholic beverages served on the Chan Centre premises.
All alcohol must be consumed only in those areas designated for liquor consumption.
No alcohol donated or purchased outside of the Chan Centre may be consumed on the premises.
Preferred Caterers
Merchandise and Collateral Sales
The Chan Centre charges a percentage of the gross receipts for the sales of souvenirs, CDs/DVDs, t-shirts, programs, librettos, books and/or any other article offered or displayed for sale in any venue by the licensee. A 15% commission on the gross receipts is charged on all sales.
The Chan Centre will provide a staff person to sell merchandise on behalf of the licensee. The cost for this service is $17.50/hour (minimum four hours) plus 17.5% commission on all sales.
