Safety On Campus

The UBC Safewalk program is available for patrons who wish to be accompanied to and from the Chan Centre at night. Staffed by student volunteers, a coed two-person team will walk with you to any location on the UBC campus. To book a walk, please call 604.822.5355 or email

Access

The Chan Centre is fully accessible to people with disabilities. When approaching the Chan Centre entrance from the top of the stairwell please note that there is an elevator located near the flag pole plaza; south-west of the main doors to The Chan Centre.

Scent-Free Venue

In recognition of individuals with asthma, allergies and severe environmental and chemical sensitivities, the Chan Centre is striving to become a scent-free venue.

Visitors are asked to refrain from wearing fragrances and scented personal care products. Your cooperation and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated.
