Don't miss the premiere of Jabberwocky, a zany new work by Rob Kapilow, commissioned by Music in the Morning and Lincoln Center. Fun for the whole family, this event combines text from Lewis Carroll's classic poem with a chorus of 30 singers, the Music in the Morning Family Musik Orchestra, and New York's PickleShoe Dancers.
With his poem Jabberwocky, Lewis Carroll coined the portmanteau-a word formed by merging the sounds and meanings of two different words. Boost your vocabulary while you chortle along with this delightful afternoon; guaranteed to be a fabulous event for kids and adults alike!
