This documentary by Lutz Leonhardt stars legendary Indian tabla player Zakir Hussain in conversation, performance, and teaching. Interspersed with colourful vignettes of real-life rhythms from around the world, this beautifully shot film is fittingly subtitled A Rhythm Experience.
Zakir Hussain and Masters of Percussion will perform at the Chan Centre on Sunday, April 1st at 7pm.
